City of Willmar Brush
Disposal/Compost Site Location:
3 miles west of Willmar on Trunk Highway 40 to County Road 116 (75th
Street SW), turn left and go 1 mile south, and then turn right. This site
is 1/2 mile west of County Road 116.

The site will be closed May 28 for Memorial
Day, July 4 for Independence Day and September 3 for Labor Day. Addl. Information: The Brush Site is open for City of Willmar residents only.
Absolutely no lumber or garbage of any kind is accepted. No firewood may
be removed.
The compost facility
will accept leaves, grass clippings and garden clippings only. Residents
should note that leaves, grass, and garden materials must be separated
from brush and branches.
No boxes, plastic bags or plastic of any
type may be left at the site.
Finished compost material is available
for general public use. Mechanical loading is prohibited.
The Kandiyohi County
Landfill also accepts brush and leaves at no charge. Questions: MAP
